Green Cart Items - Compost
All food scraps, yard waste, and food-soiled paper accepted in your green cart:
✓ Accepted: ALL food scraps including meat, bones, and dairy. Food-soiled paper and compostable items are welcome too!
Blue Cart Items - Based on Official Guide
Search for any of these items accepted in your blue recycling cart:
💰 Money-saving tip: Refundable beverage containers can go in blue cart, but you'll get money back if you take them to a Return-It depot!
Black Cart Items - Garbage
Non-recyclable, non-compostable items that must go to landfill:
⚠️ Important: Many of these items require bagging for safety and hygiene. Pet waste and kitty litter should be double-bagged.
Glass Bin Items
Empty, clean glass bottles and jars only:
✗ Not accepted: Broken glass, light bulbs, drinking glasses, cookware, ceramics, or mirrors.
